I do buy these lilies in flower around Feb for the Chinese New Year period but they dont ever flower again despite being put into the ground…guess due to climate here.
I guess that the dark background images were taken in the evening compared to the bright background in the full sun…..do I get a hamburger as a prize from McDonalds….ha ha ha
BTW Kah Wah – In the first two years we lived on this property, the lilies did not flower, then, my neighbour told me that after the lilies flower, you need to dig up the bulbs and separate and re-plant, fertilise and water. (That’s what I did and the flower each year).
The closed blossoms. I love lilies. Great photos, Joycelin!

I’m great, thanks. Yes, I’m writing two sequels at the moment, and pulling my hair out to finish by the deadline. 🙂 How are you?
