Dear friends, thank you for your continued support of this blog. I will be taking leave from Tribalmystic Stories for one week to pay my respects to my late cousin George Leahy who passed away last night. George was an important person in my life. He has his own story, which I will tell one day.

I will respond to your comments when I return. Thank you.

  1. Respects. Hope you see my email. I sent you some information about an event on tonight via email as I thought you might love to attend too, but you may still be paying respect. All the best Joycelin. Looking out for your return.

      1. I imagine you’re home again now, Joycelin, so I hope you’re OK. Funerals can be so upsetting, despite being with all the family again. So many memories come back to us. I bought the Crocodile Book last week, and will read the stories as soon as I’ve finished what I’m presently reading. Take care…

      2. Thank you very much Millie. Yes, it was very sad, and happy at the same time. I met so many family members I had not seen for decades. There is so much to catch up on.(ps – it was nice of you to get the Croc). We will swap notes later. 🙂

      3. I found the same thing – sad and happy – when we went to my Uncle Bobby’s funeral in early February. It’s sad in itself that such times are the only occasion when entire families get together. Catch you soon… 🙂

      4. Yes, I suppose everyone puts aside past disagreements with other family members for a funeral. Isn’t there a saying about being united in grief? Perhaps that’s a good thing – if the niceties last.
